Not an OEM part
This part was advertised as an OEM part direct from Whirlpool. It's a Supco LP 116 and it's an aftermarket part. While it may be suitable it can be purchased cheaper.
Was Perfect
Was perfect for what I needed. Fits my Kenmore washer, installed easily, and works great. What more can you say.
Cheap fix vs a new washer!
I'm no more than an intermediate DIYer and this fix saved me from buying a whole new washing machine. $10-$15 is way better than a several hundred for a new washer. The part fit like and OEM part the old clamps/hoses fit right on the inlet and oulet. Even the metal clips that hold it in place were also perfect fits. I've only run the washer 6-8 times so I can comment on longevity, but so far so good.
