Bright Hat - Not Girlfriend Approved
I purchased this hat for use kayaking in Lake Michigan at night. It is very bright and despite spending several days in the sun shows very little fading.
I planned on keeping it in my truck's toolbox for road-side emergencies when I'm not boating. My girlfriend was appalled to see it and insisted that she never be seen in public with the hat. We've found a mutually agreeable use for the hat - it lives on the back rudder of my kayak when the boat is hanging out of the back of my truck.
Fits well. Does what you need it to do.
Bright with reflective strips. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Only surprise was that my teenage daughter did not find it embarrassing that I would wear something like this while running. (visibility trumps being run over every time).
bright night or day
This hat is great. It is ventilated, adjustable and very bright night or day. If you are looking for safety wear in which you'll be seen, this works. Cars move over much sooner when I walk than when I am not wearing it. At night thise reflective stripes ang log light up like they were self illuminated. Very bright.
