Universal Electric Stovetop coil
The large burner on my old kitchen stove (Welbilt, 1950's) suddenly lost power just before Thanksgiving. There are no parts for this vintage appliance, but I wasn't quite ready to purchase a new stove/range either. I took a chance that this coil would work, and it did, perfectly! The original coil was a 4 ring, so this replacement actually heats faster and more evenly than the original. Now I can hold out on a kitchen renovation for a bit longer. It was also 1/2 the price of a similar coil at Home Depot.
Good value and function
Replaced a whirl pool element that had corroded to the point of uselessness, this fit the bill and the price was better than any other I could find in stores, and installed it works great, can't complain. It is very very slightly thinner than the oem but it isn't really noticable.
Fits Perfectly
I purchased this in 2009. It was shipped quickly. It fits great and works perfectly. Unfortunately, another one of my original Amana Stovetop coils broke and I'm back to purchase another one. I'm just glad they sell these.
