Good product - but not exact replacement - minor sizing issue.
I replaced the belt and this idler pulley at the same time. I had read reviews on the belt that I bought that indicated someone thought the belt was a bit larger than the original and caused their idler pulley to rub against the motor shaft causing a noise.
I had the same problem, however, on inspection I felt that the belts were the same size. What I noticed was that this pulley was a different shape than the original. The original is convex across the body of the wheel causing the belt to pull the pulley further away from the motor than this pulley. This pulley is completely flat across the body of the wheel and when running under load it was enough difference to cause the outer lip of the wheel to rub on the motor shaft and cause a whining noise. I put the original pulley back in and the noise went away. I through this pulley away.
Does not Fit
It does not fit to my Kenmore Series 80 Dryer. I replaced the original C shaped idler tensioner with this pulley but it rubs against the motor shaft.
Perfect Replacement. Better than the original!
Great replacement for the factory plastic glide/ guide. The original guide only had a piece of curved plastic at the end that causes friction and additional wear on the belt. I replaced this roller along with a belt that broke after 8 easy years of usage.
